scratch<\/strong> Provide:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Function name<\/strong>: <code>RestartLambdaFn<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Runtime<\/strong>: <code>Python 3.1<\/code>4<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1064\" height=\"906\" 2: Setup Permissions for Chatbot Invoking Lambda Function<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visit IAM Console<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find the IAM role used by iour AWS Chatbot setup named <code>awschatbot-role<\/code> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the role, and scroll down to the <strong>Permissions policies<\/strong> section. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <strong>Add permissions<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Create inline policy<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the <strong>JSON<\/strong> tab, and paste this policy:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<pre Function from Slack<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure we have invited Amazon Q to the new-channel by using this message:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>\/invite @Amazon Q<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Then  we can try to invoke Lambda function using this command form the message bar:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>@Amazon Q lambda list-functions --region us-east-1<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"542\" height=\"798\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Summary<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In this chapter, we have setup a lambda function that can be triggered from Slack while it was enabled through the IAM permissions applied on the AWS Q (chatbot). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the next chapter, we will deploy a read-only dashboard using CloudFormation which can be used as the front-end visual aid for the operational and
